This tile are approximately 8 inches tall, by 16 inches wide and the tile base is approximately 3/8 inches thick. The carved portion adds about 1/8th inch to the thickness.
This unique art tile can be displayed (Black metal tile stand is included) on a table or counter top or framed to hang on the wall. Because of it's matte finish, this tile is not recommended for tile installations (as it would be hard to clean).
Made from white stoneware clay. This Full-color variation is hand-painted with underglazes and bisque fired. Then they are refired to 2167 degrees to set the glaze finish and vitrify the clay.
While uniformity is the goal, as in all ceramic art and hand-painted items, each piece will be unique. Color, dimensions and finish may vary slightly. This is usually due to placement in the kiln, firing variations and artist application.
