This Magnificent Spotted Owl in the Redwood Forest almost leaps out at the viewer.

This one of a kind ceramic Sculpture Art Tile is Handmade and Hand-painted. 14 x 10 inches.

Owls are considered a symbol of wealth, prosperity, wisdom, good luck, and fortune. This is the reason why Owls are seen with Lakshmi, who is also the goddess of fortune, wealth, and prosperity.

Redwood trees are symbols of strength, resilience, and healing. Redwoods can withstand fires that other species cannot and have the scars to show their strength to survive.

Rhododendron flowers are associated primarily with beauty, grace, and elegance. They are known to represent strength, courage, and power, and are often associated with the feminine energy. They are believed to have a calming effect on the mind and are revered for their healing properties. In many cultures, they are viewed as symbols of unconditional love, purity, and devotion. Additionally, rhododendron flowers are also believed to symbolize new beginnings and fresh starts.

The dimensions are approximately 14 x 10 inches wide and 3/8 inches thick. The raised portion add about 1/8 inch to the thickness.

Made from white stoneware clay, this tile is hand carved, then hand-painted with underglazes. bisque fired. Then the tile is fired again to 2167 degrees to set the glaze finish and vitrify the clay.

This unique art tile can be displayed on a table or counter top (Black metal tile stand is included) or hung on the wall with provided wire hanger.

Because of the matte finish this tile is not recommended, as is, for tile installations. For Tile Installations, please contact us about applying a clear glaze for ease of cleaning and durability in high traffic areas (kitchen, bathroom or fireplace).

While uniformity is the goal, as in all ceramic art and hand-painted items, each piece will be unique. Color, dimensions and finish may vary slightly. This is usually due to placement in the kiln, firing variations and artist application.
