Lavender Ceramic Bas-relief Art Tile w/stand... Iron Oxide finish

This Lavender Ceramic Art Tile is Handmade/Hand-painted.

Lavender flowers represent purity, silence, devotion, serenity, grace, and calmness. Purple is the color of royalty and speaks of elegance, refinement, and luxury, too. The color is also associated with the crown chakra, which is the energy center associated with higher purpose and spiritual connectivity.

The tile base dimensions are approximately 8 x 4 inches wide and 3/8 inches thick. The lavender is approx. an additional 1/8 inch thicker with carved bas relief.

This unique art tile can be displayed on a table or counter top (Black metal tile stand is included) or framed to hang on the wall. Because of the matte finish of the iron oxide wash, this tile is not recommended for tile installations.

Made from white stoneware clay. Then bisque fired.. Next an Iron Oxide Wash is applied and the tile is fired again to 2167 degrees to set the glaze finish and vitrify the clay.

While uniformity is the goal, as in all ceramic art and hand-painted items, each piece will be unique. Color, dimensions and finish may vary slightly. This is usually due to placement in the kiln, firing variations and artist application.
