Cute Donkey Ceramic Sculpture Art Tile

Adorable Donkey Ceramic Art Tiles are Hand-carved and Hand-painted.

Donkeys were portrayed in Biblical works as symbols of service, suffering, peace and humility. They are also associated with the theme of wisdom in the Hebrew Bible's story of Balaam's ass, and are seen in a positive light through the story of Jesus riding into Jerusalem on a donkey. But this guy is just cute. 

These beautiful ceramic art tiles would look amazing in any kitchen or farmhouse setting.

This unique art tile can be displayed on the wall using the provided hanger, mounted as an accent tile in a tile installation or displayed on a tabletop using a plate stand (not provided). This tile includes a wire loop for hanging on the wall (see photos).

They are approximately 8 inches tall, by 6 inches wide and the tile base is approximately 3/8 inches thick. The carved portion adds about 1/8th inch to the thickness.

Made from white stoneware clay. This tile is hand-painted with underglazes or glazes.  Then they are refired to 2167 degrees to set the glaze finish and vitrify the clay.

While uniformity is the goal, as in all ceramic art and hand-painted items, each piece will be unique. Color, dimensions and finish may vary slightly. This is usually due to placement in the kiln, firing variations and artist application.
