This Sunflower Ceramic Bas-Relief Art Tile is Handmade/Hand-painted.

The dimensions are approximately 8 x 8 inches wide and 3/8 inches thick. The raised portion add about 1/8 inch to the thickness. 

This unique art tile can be displayed on a table or counter top (Black metal tile stand is included) or framed to hang on the wall.

Made from white stoneware clay, this tile is hand carved, then hand-painted with underglazes. bisque fired. Then a stain and clear glaze is applied and the tile is fired again to 2167 degrees to set the glaze finish and vitrify the clay.

While uniformity is the goal, as in all ceramic art and hand-painted items, each piece will be unique. Color, dimensions and finish may vary slightly. This is usually due to placement in the kiln, firing variations and artist application.
