Because of this tile's stained (semi-raw) finish, it is not recommended for tile installations. 

It is approximately 8 inches tall, by 8 inches wide and the tile base is approximately 3/8 inches thick. The carved portion adds about 1/8th inch to the thickness.

Made from white stoneware clay. Bisque fired. Then an Iron Oxide stain is applied. Then tiles are refired to 2167 degrees to set the glaze finish and vitrify the clay.

While uniformity is the goal, as in all ceramic art and hand-painted items, each piece will be unique. Color, dimensions and finish may vary slightly. This is usually due to placement in the kiln, firing variations and artist application.
